JUDGMENT OF THE EMPLOYMENT TRIBUNAL
The Judgment of the Employment Tribunal is that the claimant’s complaint of
unfair dismissal was presented out of time and accordingly the Tribunal does not
have jurisdiction to deal with it, and it is dismissed.

REASONS
1. This case came before me for an open preliminary hearing. In the Notice
of Hearing, the issue to be decided was expressed in these terms –
“Whether the claim for unfair dismissal was commenced within the period

set out in section 111 of the Employment Rights Act 1996 such that the
