The National Health Service (Vocational Training) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1981

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by Sections 21 and 22 of the National Health Service (Scotland) Act 1978(a) and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I hereby make the following regulations:—

Citation and commencement

1. These regulations may be cited as the National Health Service (Vocational Training) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1981 and shall come into operation on 16th February 1981.

Amendment to regulations

2. In regulation 5(5)(a)(i) of the National Health Service (Vocational Training) (Scotland) Regulations 1980(b) for the words "the day on which these regulations are made" there shall be substituted the words "16th January 1981".

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)

These regulations amend the definition of "educationally approved post" in Regulation 5(5)(a)(i) of the National Health Service (Vocational Training) (Scotland) Regulations 1980 ("the 1980 Regulations").

In terms of that regulation such a post is defined as being a post in a hospital or with a Health Board in Scotland employment in which was, immediately before the day on which the 1980 Regulations were made, approved by the Postgraduate Medical Education Committee for the purposes of training for the provision of general...
