The King's Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Whereas by the Northern Rhodesia (Crown Lands and Native Reserves) Order in Council, 1928 (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Order")(a) His late Majesty King George the Fifth, by and with the advice of His Privy Council, was pleased to declare which land within Northern Rhodesia should be Crown Land and which should be Native Reserves and to confirm certain alienations of land within Northern Rhodesia:

And Whereas it was further declared that the expression "Native Reserves" should mean the lands set apart by the principal Order (and described in the Schedule thereto) for the sole and exclusive use of the natives of Northern Rhodesia and lands which might thereafter be constituted Native Reserves by any Order in Council amending or adding to the said Order:

And Whereas the principal Order has been amended from time to time:

And Whereas it is expedient further to amend the principal Order:

Now, therefore, His Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers by the Foreign Jurisdiction Act, 1890(b), or otherwise in His Majesty vested, is pleased, by and with the advice of His Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

1. This Order may be cited as the Northern Rhodesia (Native Reserves) (Amendment) Order in Council, 1950.

2. Section XVII of the Schedule to the principal Order shall be amended by deleting from the description of the Luba Reserve the following words—

"Included within the boundaries defined above, but excluded from the Reserve is,

Farm No. 557, Namantombwa Mission, 784 acres in extent, situated on the Nangoma River."

3. His Majesty, His Heirs and Successors, in Council, may at any time revoke, alter, add to, or amend this...
