NOTE
FOR
corm
I
B~JTORS
POLITICS appears twice a year and contributions dea1Fng with substantive
issues
of current interest in any area of political science are invited. Articles
will
be evaluated by a Board meeting
of
all
the
Editors in terms
of
academic
importance and clarity of presentation. POLITICS
is
committed only to general
standards of academic debate, and
all
contributions
will
be considered without
prejudice to the area of political science covered or the viewpoints expressed.
The Editors do, however, reserve the
right
to reject material.
All
contributions should not exceed a maximum of 3000 words; we are unable to
consider material beyond this
limit!
The Editorial Board
is
particularly keen to
encourage the submission of short responses and critiques plus more extensive
review articles and items useful for undergraduate teaching. Harvard referencing
is
preferred and footnotes should be avoided
if
possible.
The
Editors
will
be
happy to advise authors and potential contributors are strongly urged to request
style sheet from the General Editor at
