NOTES ON CONTRIBUTORS
Harald Bauder is the academic director of the Ryerson Centre for Immigration
and Settlement (RCIS, www.ryerson.ca/rcis) and an associate professor
in Geography and the Graduate Program in Immigration and Settlement
Studies (ISS) at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada. His recent books
include Immigration Dialectic: Imagining Community, Economy and Nation
(University of Toronto Press, 2011) and Labor Movement: How Migration
Regulates Labor Markets (Oxford University Press, 2006), and he has edited
Immigration and Settlement: Challenges, Experiences, and Opportunities
(Canadian Scholars Press, 2012) and co-edited, with Salvatore Engel-di Mauro,
Critical Geographies: A Collection of Readings (Praxis (e)Press, 2008).
Richard Beardsworth is Professor of Political Philosophy and International
Relations at The American University of Paris and director of the Research
Center in the Division of International Politics, Economics and Public Policy.
He has published extensively in critical theory, political philosophy and
international political theory and is explicitly concerned with pragmatic
cosmopolitan vision in an uncertain world order. His most recent book,
Cosmopolitanism and International Relations Theory (Polity, 2011), addresses
the problematic of universalism in international relations. He is now preparing a
manuscript on global political leadership.
Megan Bradley is an assistant professor in the Conf‌lict Studies Program at Saint
Paul University in Ottawa. She completed her doctorate in international relations
at the University of Oxford, where she studied at the Refugee Studies Centre.
Her f‌irst monograph, Refugee Repatriation: Justice, Responsibility and Redress,
is forthcoming from Cambridge University Press.
