OFFICIAL SECRETS

The Official Secrets (Cyprus) Order, 1955

7thApril 1955

In pursuance of the power conferred on me by section three of the Official Secrets Act, 1911(a), as amended by section ten of the Official Secrets Act, 1920(b), I hereby make the following Order:—

1. The places specified in the Schedule to this Order, being places belonging to or used for the purposes of Her Majesty, are declared to be prohibited

(a) 1 & 2 Geo. 5. c. 28.

(b) 10 & 11 Geo. 5. c. 75.

places for the purposes of section three of the Official Secrets Act, 1911, on the ground that information with respect thereto, or damage thereto, would be useful to an enemy.

2. This Order may be cited as the Official Secrets (Cyprus) Order, 1955.
