The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 4(2) of the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 19671, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Commissioner Order...

1. This Order may be cited as the Parliamentary Commissioner Order 1988 and shall come into force on 21st April 1988.

S-2 Schedule 2 to the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967 shall be...

2. Schedule 22to the Parliamentary Commissioner Act 1967 shall be amended by the insertion in the appropriate place of the entry“Scottish Legal Aid Board”.

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order adds the Scottish Legal Aid Board to the list of government departments, corporations and unincorporated bodies which are subject to investigation by the Parliamentary Commissioner for Administration. The Board was established by the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1986 (c. 47).
