The one2one with Allison Kirkby (June) was one of the best FM articles I have read, because I could relate to it on a personal level. She and I are roughly the same age, but whereas I left school at 16 to work in a bank and only later pursued a career in accounting, she was more focused. It's refreshing to read that she didn't go to university (although that was the result of some unfortunate circumstances). She has got to where she is through sheer hard work and I admire and respect her for that.
