Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1 of the United Nations Act 19461, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Al-Qa'ida and Taliban (United...

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Al-Qa'ida and Taliban (United Nations Measures) (Amendment) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 14th February 2002.

(2) This Order and the Al-Qa'ida and Taliban (United Nations Measures) Order 20022(hereinafter referred to as “the principal Order”) may be cited together as the Al-Qa'ida and Taliban (United Nations Measures) Orders 2002.

S-2 In Article 1(4) of the principal Order, the words, “Articles 6,...

2. In Article 1(4) of the principal Order, the words, “Articles 6, 7 and 8” shall be replaced by the words “Articles 6, 7, 8 and 9”.
