Juries
in
Ireland, the Grand Jury

the County
of
Cork,
at each Assizes, are authorized
to
make Present-
ment for
the
making and maintaining
of
the Roads and Bridges within
the several Baronies, including the Barony
of
Barrymore
in the said
County, within which
Barony
the Town
of
Queenstown
is
situate
:
And
whereas
‘‘
The Towns Iniprovenierlt
(Ireloand)
Act,
1854,”
(in this Act
referred to as the Act
of
15.54)
has been duly adopted
by
the Inhabitants
of the said Town: And whereas
it
is
expedient to transfer to the Com-
missioners elected and acting
in
pursuance
of
the Act
of
1854
the Powers
of
the
Grand Jury
for
making, maintaining, and managing the Roads and
other Public Works within the said Town, and to enable the said
Com-
missioners to make
the
necessary Rate
for
that Purpose
:
