Application by holder of a six-day and early closing licence for an ordinary seven-day licence - Intoxicating Liquor Act (Northern Ireland), 1923 (13 14 Geo. V., c. 12), s. 9.

By s. 9 of the Intoxicating Liquor Act (Northern Ireland), 1923 (13 & 14 Geo. V., c. 12), "From and after the passing of this Act no licence shall be granted for the sale of intoxicating liquor, whether for consumption on or off the premises, except—for premises which are lawfully licensed at the date of the passing of this Act, or which were lawfully licensed at any time since the first day of January, 1920.":—Held, by the King's Bench Division (N.
