Medical evidence - Hospital order - Mental Health Act (Northern Ireland),1961 (c. 15), s. 48.
A court before making a hospital order under section 48 of the Mental Health Act (Northern Ireland), 1961, must be satisfied that the medical evidence required by section 48 (1) (a) of the Act is before it. Quaere.Whether a hospital order can be combined with a sentence of imprisonment when an accused is convicted on more than one count.
