Practical guide for working with mentally disordered
offenders

Nacro have produced a good practice guide Liaison and diversion for mentally
disordered offenders
. The guide sets out how commissioners, managers and prac-
titioners can establish schemes to identify those with mental illness caught up in
the criminal justice system and identifies elements that make up a good scheme.
It provides a checklist to help schemes operate good practice. The booklet can be

Social services directory
The Social Services Yearbook 2007 was published in February 2007 and provides
