Retraction
It
has
been
drawn
to
my
attention
that
'Postmodern
Public
Administration
Theory:
From
Simon
to
the
Present
and
Back
Again?'
by
Konstantinos
J.
Papadoulis,
published
in
Volume
20,
Number
1,
Spring
2005
of
this
journal,
bears
an
extremely
strong
similarity
to
an
article
entitled
'Administrative
Practice
and
Rational
Inquiry
in
Postmodern
Public
Administration
Theory',
by
Frank
de
Zwart,
published
in
the
journal
Administration
and
Society
in
November
2002.
Having
investigated
this
matter,
it
is
my
judgement
that
the
similarities
between
these
articles
are
so
strong
that
the
possibility
of
mere
coincidence
can
be
discounted.
Accordingly,
in
the
interest
of
maintaining
academic
standards,
the
Public
Policy
and
Administration
article
is
retracted.
