together justice can much more clearly be done.

The
difficulties of producing at frequent intervals new editions of so
costly a work as Archbold have been very well overcome by the supplements
which appear three times a year.
This
eleventh supplement brings the book
up to May, 1957. One of the most important amendments noted is the
incorporation where necessary of references to the Sexual OffencesAct, 1956.
One notices also that the provisions of the Road Traffic Act, 1956, have been
included.
The
many additional references to decisions of the Court of
Criminal Appeal round off an indispensable adjunct to the main work, and
police officers and advocates will find it indispensable.
