Roads adjoining
thereto in

the County
of
Worcester.

an Act
was
passed
in
theThirty-first Year
of
the
Reign of
His
late Majesty King
George
the Third, intituled

An
Act
for
more efectualb repairing several
Roads
lending
froa

the

Hereford,
and
other
Roads

thereto
:
And whereas the Trustees have borrowed at Interest
several considerable Sums of Money on the Credit
of
the
Tolls
authorized
to
be
collected upon the said Roads, for amending and improving the
same,
and
which Money still remains due and owing, and theTerm
granted and continued by the said Act is near expiring
:
And whereas the
said
Roads
cannot be sufficiently amended, widened, improved, and kept
in
Repair,
nor
can
the
Money
so
borrowed be repaid,
or
the Interest
thereon be discharged, unless theTerm and Powers
of
the said Act are
enhrged
:
And whereas it would facilitate the Execution of the
Purpose
Tforesaid, if the several necessary Powers and Provisions were
comprizd
one
Act,
and the said former Act repealed: May it therefore please

hjesty that it may be enacted
;
and be it emcted
by
the King’s
most
Excellent Majesty,

and with the Advice
and
Consent
of
the

Mary Norris
Widow, in the said Town
of
Bromyard,
to
HerEfordshire
Lake,
in
the
Parish
of
Wbitborne,
and to
Acton's Green,
in the bunty
of
Worcester,
and
also
to
Herefordshire
Lake,
in the
Parish
of
Bromyard;
the Road
leading from the
Sheep Street,
in the said Town
of
Bromyard,
to
a Place
called
Perry Bridge,
in the Parish
of
Stoke Bliss
;
the
Road
leading from
the School
House
in
the said
Town,
to
Sapey Wood,
and from thence to
the
Direction Post
in
the Turnpike Road leading from
Stanford,
towards
Tenbury
;
and the Road leading from the
Back
Lune
in
the said Town
of
Bromyard,
at or near a Place called
Holditch Gate,
to
Stokelacey
Church,
and through the Parish
of
Bishop's Froome
and
Castle Froome,
to
join
the
Ledbury
Turnpike Road
;
and this Act, and the Tolls hereby granted,
shall be and the same are hereby made subject and liable
to
the Payment
.
of
all Monies which are now due and owing on the Credit of the
Tolls
authorized to
be
taken by the said Act
on
the said Roads, and
of
all
Interest due and to grow due thereon, as fully and effectually to all
Intents and Purposes,
as
if such Monies had been borrowed and become
due
on
the Credit of this Act, or of the Tolls hereby authorized
to
be
collected.

pointed Trustees for amending, altering, turning, widening, improving,
and keeping in Repair the said Roads, and for otherwise putting this Act
in
Execution.
III.
And be it further enacted, That
it
shall and
may
be lawful for the
Power
to
said
Trustees, and they are hereby authorized and empowered, at any
of
appoint
additional
their Meetings to be holden in pursuance
of
this Act, to elect any Number
Trustees.

Persons not exceeding Ten in the
Whole,
to be Trustees for the Pur-
poses of this Act, in addition to the Trustees hereby appointed
;
and such
Trustees
so
elected, and being duly qualified
as
herein-after mentioiied,
&all be and are hereby invested with the same
Powers
and Authorities
for
executing this Act as if they had been herein named.
IV.
And be
it
further enacted,
That
when and
so
often
as
any
of
the
On
Death
or
Trustees hereby named and appointed (except the Justices of the Peace
Refusal
toaet,
acting for the County
of'
Hercfird
or County of
Worcester),
or
to be
appointed by virtue of this Act, shall die,
or
become disqualified by
chosen.
Bankruptcy, Insolvency, or otherwise, or by Writing under his or their
Hand or Hands, delivered to the Clerk to the Trustees of the said
Roads,
sigdy
his
or
their Refusal to act, it shall be lawful for the surviving or
remaining Trustees, or any Seven or
more
of them, and they are hereby
authorized and empowered, to elect and appoint some other Person or
Persons to be
a
Trustee
or
Trustees
in
the Room
of
any Trustee or
'bustees
so
dying, or becoming disqualified
or
refusing
to
act
;
and Notice
of
the Time and Place
of
Meeting for every such Election, shall be given
by
the
Clerk
to
the said Trustees, or
by
any Three or niore
of
the
said
Fnstees, which ru'otice shall be inserted in some public Newspaper usually
&cabted
in
the said Town
of
Bronzyard
and Neighbourhood thereof,
at
least
Fourteen
Days
previous to every such Meeting
;
and all and every
hmn
and
Person's who
slrall
be
SO
elected and
appointed
shall,
imme-
diately
other
Trus-
tees to
be
