HEREAS
the construction of the tramways which are herein-

after described will be of piiblic and local advantRge
:
And whereas the Empire Electric Light and Power Company
Limited (hereinafter cal!ecl
(‘
the Company
”)
are willing at their
own expense to cotistruct tho said traniways and
it
is expedient
that powers be conferred upon then1 for that purpose
:
And whereas
it
is expedient that the Company be authorised
to
purchase lands compulsorily and to exercise the other poverp
hereinafter contained
:
And whereas the council for the urban district
of
Roinford in
the county
of
Essex are by the Roinford Electric Lighting Order
1900
authorised to supply electricity within the said urban district
:
And whereas the said urban district council
and
the Company
have entered into an indenture d&ed the twentieth
dav
of
April
one thousnnd iiine hundred
aid
three for the transfer to the
Company
of
the undertaking powers rights
and
privileges
of
the
said council under the said Order and
it
is expedient that mch
indenture
as
set forth in the Second Schedule to
this
Act be
confirmed
and that provision be inade as hereinafter coiitained
wit11 respect to such transfer

And whereas plans and sections showing the situation lilies and
levels
of
the tramways by this Act authorised such plans

there be any omission misstatement
or
wrong description
in

any lands
or
of the owners lessees or occupiers of any lands

upon the deposited plans
or
specified
in
the deposited
book
of
reference the Company after giving ten days’ notice to the
oailers lessees
and
occupiers of
khe
lands in question may apply
to two justices acting for the county of
Essex
for the correction
t,liereof and
if
it appear to the justices
that
tlie omission misstate-
ment
or
wrong description arose from mistake tbey shall certify
the same accordingly and they shall
in
their aertificate state the
particulars of the c.mission and in what respect
any
such matter
is
inisstated or wrongly described and such certificate

Roniforci and such certificate and duplicate respec-
tively shall be kept by such clerks respectively with the other
clocuinentd to which the same relate and thereupon the deposited
plniis and hook of reference shall be deeined
to
be corrected according
to such certificate and it shall be lawful for the Company to take
the lands and esecute the works
in
accordance with such certificate.
