  • Schedule 4 to this Act shall have effect for adapting the provisions of this Act there mentioned in their application to Northern Ireland.
  • (1) This Act may be cited as the Social Security Benefits Act 1975.(2) This Act may be cited with the Supplementary Benefit Acts 1966 to 1973 as the Supplementary Benefit Acts 1966 to 1975, . . . (4) Except where the context otherwise requires, references in this Act to any enactment are references to that enactment as amended by or under any other enactment, including this Act.(5) Schedule 5 to this Act shall have effect with respect to the commencement of this Act and with respect to the transitional matters dealt with in that Schedule.(6) The enactments and Order mentioned in Schedule 6 to this Act are hereby repealed to the extent specified in the third column of that Schedule.
