An Act for effecting an Exchange between the
Dean and Chapter of the Cathedral Church of
Saint
Paul in
London
and
John Pedley
Esquire.
[13th April 1829.]

HEREAS the Right Reverend Edward Lord Bishop of
Llandaff,
Dean of the Cathedral Church of Saint Paul in
London,
and the Chapter of the same Church, are seised to
them and their Successors for ever of all that Capital Messuage, with the
Edifices, Barns, Stables, Outhouses, and Buildings, Farm and Lands,
thereto belonging, situate at
Caddington
Hill in the Parish of
Caddington
in the Counties of
Hertford
and Bedford, or one of them, and adjoining
the Road leading from Market Street to Luton, containing altogether.
Five hundred and five Acres Two Roods and Eight Perches, be the same
little more or less, with their Rights, Members, and Appurtenances,
subject nevertheless, except as to Thirteen Acres Two Roods and
Seventeen Perches thereof in Markyate and Harps Hill, to the Payment
to the Vicar of the Vicarage of
Caddington
for the Time being of the
yearly Corn Rent which by virtue of a certain Act of Parliament, made
and passed in the Thirty-eighth Year of the Reign of His late Majesty
King
George
the Third, intituled An Act for dividing and
inclosing
the 38G.3.C.8O.
Open
and
Common
Fields,
Common
Pastures,
Commons,
and Waste Lands in
the Parish of Caddington in the
Counties
of Bedford and Hertford, and
the Award made by the Commissioners thereby appointed, or which by
any other Means in pursuance of the said Act has been assessed and
