The Superannuation (Scottish Legal Services Ombudsman) Order 1991

The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 1(5) ofthe Superannuation Act 19721and now vested in them2, hereby make the following Order:—

1. This Order may be cited as the Superannuation (Scottish LegalServices Ombudsman) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 1st June1991.

2. The office of the Scottish legal services ombudsman is hereby addedto the offices listed in Schedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972.

S-3 Employment by the Scottish legal services ombudsman is hereby...

3. Employment by the Scottish legal services ombudsman is hereby addedto the employments listed in that Schedule.

This Order adds the office of the Scottish legal services ombudsmanand the employment of his staff to the offices and employments listed inSchedule 1 to the Superannuation Act 1972 so that the Principal CivilService Pension Scheme and the Civil Service Additional VoluntaryContribution Scheme made under section 1 of that Act may apply to them.Provision for the appointment of the Scottish legal services ombudsmanand his staff was made by section 34 of the Law Reform (MiscellaneousProvisions) (Scotland) Act 1990 (c. 40)and Schedule 3 thereto.
