The Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Rhinog Fawr) (Emergency) (Amendment) Regulations 2017

Coming into force with immediate effect

The Secretary of State has deemed it necessary in the public interest to restrict flying in the vicinity of the area specified in the Schedule to the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Rhinog Fawr) (Emergency) Regulations 2017( 1) (“the principal Regulations”) by reason of an emergency having arisen in that area.

The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by article 239 of the Air Navigation Order 2016( 2).

Citation and commencement

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Air Navigation (Restriction of Flying) (Rhinog Fawr) (Emergency) (Amendment) Regulations 2017 and come into force with immediate effect.

Amendment of Regulations

2.—(1) The principal Regulations are amended as follows.

(2) In the Schedule, for the entry in column 2, substitute 5 nautical miles and 2 nautical miles respectively.

These Regulations amend the instrument which imposed emergency restrictions on flying in the area specified in the Schedule to that instrument.
