The Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2011

Made 31th March 2011

Laid before Parliament 4th April 2011

Coming into force 1st October 2011

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 4(1) and 4(6) of the Freedom of Information Act 20001.

The Secretary of State has consulted the First Minister and deputy First Minister in Northern Ireland in accordance with section 4(7) of that Act2.

S-1 Citation, commencement and interpretation

Citation, commencement and interpretation

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2011.

(2) This Order comes into force on 1st October 2011.

(3) In this Order, “the Act” means the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

2.—(1) In Part 6 of Schedule 1 to the Act (other public bodies and offices: general) insert, at the appropriate place in each case, the entries listed in Part 1 of the Schedule to this Order.

(2) In Part 7 of Schedule 1 to the Act (other public bodies and offices: Northern Ireland) insert, at the appropriate place in each case, the entries listed in Part 2 of the Schedule to this Order.
