The Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2004

Laid before Parliament 29th March 2004

Coming into force 19th April 2004

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 4(1) and 4(6) of the Freedom of Information Act 20001, and after consultation with the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland2in accordance with section 4(7) of the Freedom of Information Act, hereby makes the following Order:

S-1 This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information...

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Freedom of Information (Additional Public Authorities) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 19 April 2004.

(2) In this Order, “the Act” means the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

S-2 The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 1 to this Order shall...

2. The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 1 to this Order shall be added to Part II of Schedule 1 to the Act, at the appropriate place in each case.

S-3 The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 2 to this Order shall...

3. The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 2 to this Order shall be added to Part VI of Schedule 1 to the Act, at the appropriate place in each case.

S-4 The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 3 to this Order shall...

4. The bodies and offices listed in Schedule 3 to this Order shall be added to Part VII of Schedule 1 to the Act, at the appropriate place in each case.
