The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, by virtue and in exercise of the powers vested in Her by section 112 of the Saint Helena Act 18331, the British Settlements Acts 1887 and 19452, and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) (Revocation) Order 2011 and shall come into force on 18th January 2012.

(2) This Order extends to the territories specified in the Schedule to this Order.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

The Order revokes the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (Restrictive Measures) (Overseas Territories) Order 2004 made to give effect, in the overseas territories to which the 2004 Order extended, to Council Common Position 2004/694/CFSP (as extended by Common Position 2009/717/CFSP) which was adopted by the Council of the European Union on 11th October 2004 to provide for certain restrictive measures with the aim of freezing all funds and economic resources belonging to persons who had been indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia for war crimes but were still at large.
