The Licensing Act 2003 (Welsh Language Forms) Order 2007

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 17(3)(b), 17(4), 17(5)(a)(i), 17(5)(a)(ii), 17(5)(b), 17(5)(c), 24(1), 29(6), 30(2), 34(5), 37(3)(a), 47(2)(a), 51(3), 54, 69(4), 71(4)(b), 71(5), 71(6), 78(1), 84(4), 87(3), 91, 100(4) and (5), 102(2), 107(7), 120(2)(b), 125(4), 133(1), 167(4), 178(1)(b) and 197 of the Licensing Act 20031and section 26 of the Welsh Language Act 19932:
Citation and commencement
1. This Order may be cited as the Licensing Act 2003 (Welsh Language Forms) Order 2007 and comes into force on 6th April 2007.
Prescribed Forms
2. The forms set out in Schedules 1 to 13 to this Order are prescribed as the Welsh and bilingual versions of the forms set out in Schedules 1 to 13 respectively of the Licensing Act 2003 (Premises licences and club premises certificates) Regulations 20053.
3. The forms set out in Schedules 14 to 16 to this Order are prescribed as the Welsh versions of the forms set out in Schedules 1 to 3 respectively of the Licensing Act 2003 (Personal licences) Regulations 20054
4. The forms set out in Schedules 17 and 18 to this Order are prescribed as the Welsh versions of the forms set out in Schedules 1 and 2 respectively of the Licensing Act 2003 (Permitted Temporary Activities)(Notices) Regulations 20055.
Condition of use
5. The form prescribed by this Order may be used only in dealings by or with licensing authorities in Wales.

This Order prescribes the Welsh and bilingual versions of the forms which may be accepted by Welsh licensing authorities instead of the forms prescribed by the Licensing Act 2003 (Premises licences and club premises certificates) Regulations 2005, the Licensing Act 2003 (Personal licences) Regulations 2005 and the Licensing Act 2003 (Permitted Temporary Activities)(Notices) Regulations 2005.
Regulation 2 of the Order prescribes the Welsh and bilingual versions of the forms, which may be used instead of the forms prescribed in Schedules 1 to 13 of the Licensing Act 2003 (Premises licences and club premises certificates) Regulations 2005 (forms to be used to apply for, seek variations of and initiate other procedures in connection with premises licences and club premises certificates).
Regulation 3 of the Order prescribes the Welsh versions of the forms, which may be used instead of the forms prescribed in Schedules 1 to 3 of the Licensing Act 2003 (Personal licences) Regulations 2005 (forms to be used to apply for or renew a personal licence).
Regulation 4 of the Order prescribes the Welsh versions of forms, which may be used instead of the forms prescribed in Schedules 1 and 2 of the Licensing Act 2003 (Permitted Temporary Activities)(Notices) Regualtions 2005 (forms to be used for temporary event notices given by premises users, for licensing authorities to acknowledge receipt of temporary event notices and for counter notices given by licensing authorities).
