The Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013
Made 8th July 2013
The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 4(2) of the Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 20131:
Citation
1. This order may be cited as the Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013.
Appointed day
2. Section 2 of the Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013 comes into force on 15th July 2013.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
Article 2 of this Order brings section 2 of the Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013 (c.8)into force. Section 2 amends the Juries Act 1974 (c.23)in relation to qualification for jury service based on mental health.
