The Pollution Prevention and Control (Fees) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2022

Made 16th June 2022

Coming into force 17th June 2022

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 7 of Schedule 4 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 20181, sections 110A(1), 110A(2) and 316(1) of the Marine and Coastal Access Act 20092, section 82OA(1) and (2) of the Energy Act 20083and section 302(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 19954makes the following Regulations.

The Secretary of State has obtained the consent of the Treasury in accordance with section 302(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1995 and paragraph 10 of Schedule 4 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018.

In accordance with paragraphs 12(1) and 38 of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.

S-1 Citation, commencement and extent

Citation, commencement and extent

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Pollution Prevention and Control (Fees) (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2022.

(2) These Regulations come into force on the day after the day on which they are made.

(3) These Regulations extend to England and Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
