The Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2004

Coming into force 1st April 2004

The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 134 and 163(1) of the New Roads and Street Works Act 19911and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations:

S-1 Citation, commencement and extent

1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 1st April 2004.

(2) These Regulations extend to Scotland only.

2. In regulation 3(1) of the Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 20032for “£20.00” substitute “£21.00”.

These Regulations provide for an increase to £21.00 (previously £20.00) in the fee payable by undertakers for inspections of their work by road works authorities in Scotland under regulation 3(1) of the Road Works (Inspection Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2003 ( S.S.I. 2003/415).
