The Universal Credit (Surpluses and Self-employed Losses) (Change of coming into force) Regulations 2017

Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(2) and (3) of, and paragraph 4(1), (3)(a) and (4) of Schedule 1 to, the Welfare Reform Act 20121.

In accordance with section 173(1)(b) of the Social Security Administration Act 19922, the Social Security Advisory Committee has agreed that these Regulations need not be referred to it.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Universal Credit (Surpluses and Self-employed Losses) (Change of coming into force) Regulations 2017 and come into force at the end of the period of 21 days beginning with the day on which they are laid.
