In exercise of the powers conferred on me by sections 11 and 107 of the Town and Country Planning (Scotland) Act, 1947(a), and of all other powers enabling me in that behalf, I hereby order as follows:—

1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Town and Country Planning (General Development) (Scotland) (Amendment) Order, 1958, and shall come into force on the 10th day of October, 1958.

(2) The Interpretation Act, 1889(a), shall apply to the interpretation of this Order as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.

2. The Town and Country Planning (General Development) (Scotland) Order, 1950(b), is hereby amended by adding at the end of Class XVIII—Development by the National Coal Board—in columns (1) and (2) of the First Schedule to the Order the following provision:—
