THE TRADING WITH THE ENEMY INVESTMENT ORDER, 1940, DATED JUNE 29, 1940, MADE BY THE BOARD OF TRADE UNDER SECTION 7 OF THE TRADING WITH THE ENEMY ACT, 1939 (2 & 3 GEO. 6. C. 89).

The Board of Trade in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by Section 7 of the Trading with the Enemy Act, 1939, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf do hereby make the following Order:—

1. Any moneys received by a Custodian of enemy property by virtue of any Order made or to be made by the Board of Trade under the above named Section may be invested by that Custodian in the purchase of Treasury Bills or such other British Government securities as the Board of Trade may from time to time specify.

2. The Trading with the Enemy (Custodian) Order, 1939(a), and every other such Order as aforesaid shall be read and take effect as if it contained a provision authorising all moneys arising directly or indirectly to a Custodian under or by virtue of such Order to be dealt with in the manner authorised by this...
