THE TRADING WITH THE ENEMY (AUTHORISATION) ORDER, 1944, DATED JANUARY 26, 1944, MADE BY THE BOARD OF TRADE UNDER SECTIONS 1 AND 7 OF THE TRADING WITH THE ENEMY ACT, 1939 (2 & 3 GEO. 6. C. 89).

The Board of Trade in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by Sections 1 and 7 of the Trading with the Enemy Act, 1939, and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf do hereby make the following Order:—

1. Notwithstanding anything contained in Section 1 of the Trading with the Enemy Act, 1939, any person, unless the Board of Trade otherwise direct, may trade within any of the territories specified in the Schedule hereto with any individual or body of persons (whether corporate or unincorporate) carrying on business therein.

2. Article 1 of the Trading with the Enemy (Custodian) Order, 1939(a), shall not apply to any money payable by reason of a transaction authorised by Article 1 of this Order.

3. The Trading with the Enemy (East Africa) Order, 1941(b), is hereby revoked.

4. This Order may be cited as the Trading with the Enemy (Authorisation) Order, 1944.
