Dear Devon and Scott
Consent to supplement the Control Period 6 (CP6) track usage price list
(Class 730) following a joint proposal by Network Rail Infrastructure
Limited (Network Rail) and West Midlands Trains Limited (WMTL)
We have today consented to supplement the CP6 track usage price list, following a joint
proposal submitted to us by the above initially on 25 April 2023 under paragraph 9 of Part
2 of schedule 7 to their track access contract (TAC). The change shall have effect from the
date on which the vehicles were first used on the network by the train operator until
31 March 2024.
Proposal
The purpose of this supplement is to amend the Passenger Variable Usage Charge (VUC)
Rates section of the CP6 Track Usage Price List to include new Class 730 Motor (90 and
110). They have been operating on the network since 3 August 2022.
Industry consultation
There is no requirement for industry consultation in this matter as the changes do not
affect any other train operating company.
