We are approving this Change Proposal.
CPW139b will integrate the C4 (Identified Missing Service Components) and C7 (Supply
Point Address Amendment) processes into the Bilateral Hub as part of the Bilateral
Transactions programme. These processes have been prioritised for their incorporation
into the Bilateral Hub given the frequent use by Trading Parties and the associated
improvements that business customers can expect to see as a result of their inclusion
in the Bilateral Hub.
The changes proposed to process C4 will track the time to completion of the service
request regardless of whether the request was initiated by the Retailer or the
Wholesaler. This will improve efficiency and better incentivise the timely correction of
service component data and in turn improve the business customers' journey.
The changes proposed to process C7 will formalise the process to request supply point
address amendments as it does not currently exist in the Operational Terms. It will also
reduce the associated service level agreement from twenty-five (25) business days to
twelve (12) business days. The changes will improve data accuracy that is sighted as a
significant blocker to accurate customer billing and improve trading party
accountability for the maintenance of address data.
CPW139b also proposes a number of minor housekeeping changes to simplify and bring
consistency to terms as set out in OSD 0701.
