'W H E R E A S an Act of Parliament was made in the first Year of her Majesty's Reign, intituled,An Act for the more effectual preventing the Abuses and Frauds of Persons employed in the working up the Woollen, Linen, Fustian, Cotton, and Iron Manufactures of this Kingdom , to continue for the Space of three Years, to commence from the twenty-fourth Day of June one thousand seven hundred and three, and from thence to the End of the next Session of Parliament, and no longer: And whereas the said Act is expired, but while in being, was found of good Use, for preventing Abuses and Frauds of Persons employed in making of the said Manufactures;' Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Lords Spiritual...
