- HENRY SCHEIN ANIMAL HEALTH TO BUY LION'S SHARE OF SMARTPAK
US health care products and services provider Henry Schein Inc (NASDAQ:HSIC) said its domestic animal health arm, Henry Schein Animal Health, agreed to purchase some 60% of US equine supplements and horse supplies company SmartPak for an undisclosed amount.

- MICROCHIP TECHNOLOGY TO BUY ISSC TECHNOLOGIES IN TAIWAN
US microcontroller, mixed-signal, analog and Flash-IP solutions provider Microchip Technology Inc (NASDAQ:MCHP) has agreed to buy Taiwan-based ISSC Technologies Corporation (ISSC), a specialist in Bluetooth and advanced wireless solutions specialist for the Internet Of Things (IoT) market.

- CARDIFF INKS LOI TO BUY PIZZA CHAIN
US holding company Cardiff International Inc (OTCMKTS:CDIF) said it had sealed a letter of intent (LoI) to take over a family pizza chain, which has five locations in Atlanta, Georgia.

- SIGNET SAYS COMMITTED TO USD21.00 P/S PRICE FOR ZALE
Bermuda-based speciality jewellery retailer Signet Jewelers Ltd (NYSE:SIG) said it was still committed to buying US sector player Zale Corporation (NYSE:ZLC) at USD21.00 (EUR15.38) per share in cash, or some USD1.4bn in enterprise terms, calling on Zale's shareholders to back the deal.

- SHILOH TO PURCHASE SWEDEN'S FINNVEDEN METAL STRUCTURES
US lightweighting, noise and vibration solutions firm Shiloh Industries Inc said it agreed to buy 100% of Swedish Finnveden Metal Structures AB (FMS), a supplier of steel, aluminium and magnesium products to the automotive and general industry, from FinnvedenBulten AB (STO:FBAB) for SEK372.3m (USD56.5m/EUR41.4m).

- UNITED NATURAL FOODS AGREES USD195.3M BUY OF TONY'S FINE FOODS
US foods and related products distributor United Natural Foods Inc (NASDAQ:UNFI) said it had signed a final accord to take over perishable food products distribution specialist Tony's Fine Foods for some USD195.3m (EUR142.9m) in cash and stock.

- YATERRA VENTURES REVEALS BUY OF MINING GLOBAL
US-based Yaterra Ventures Corp (OTCMKTS:YTRV) announced its acquisition of Mining Global Inc in Arizona.

- DE MASTER BLENDERS OWNERS PLAN FURTHER COFFEE INVESTMENTS
Germany's Reimann family, the owner of Dutch coffee and tea firm DE Master Blenders 1753 NV (AMS:DE), intends to further invest in coffee businesses internationally, with potential for acquisitions seen in North America.

- SPOWER BUYS BOSCH SOLAR ENERGY NORTH AMERICA OPERATIONS
US utility and distributed electrical generation systems operator Sustainable Power Group (sPower) said it had taken over Bosch Solar Energy North America entities with active US projects, without disclosing the value of the deal.

- FORESIGHT SOLAR TO ACQUIRE BOURNEMOUTH SOLAR POWER PLANT
UK Foresight Solar Fund (LON:FSFL), a unit of infrastructure and private equity investment manager Foresight Group, said it had agreed to buy the 37.3-MW Bournemouth solar power plant, without providing financial details.

- SLOVENIA EXPECTS BIDS FOR NKBM UNTIL 3 JULY
Slovenia has asked interested parties to submit expressions of interest for local lender Nova Kreditna banka Maribor dd (NKBM) until 3 July, state investment fund SOD, the co-ordinator for the sale, said.

US online travel research company TripAdvisor Inc (NASDAQ:TRIP) said it had closed its acquisition of European restaurant booking platform Lafourchette for an undisclosed sum.

- POLYMETAL AGREES DEAL FOR KAZAKH MINER ALTYNALMAS GOLD
Russian gold, silver and copper miner Polymetal International plc (LON:POLY) said it had inked binding accords to buy Altynalmas Gold Ltd (AAG), which holds the Kyzyl gold project, from Sumeru Gold BV and Sumeru LLP in a cash-and-stock deal worth up to some USD1.19bn (EUR867m).

- BNY MELLON TO EXIT CHINA JV - REPORT
The Bank of New York Mellon Corporation (NYSE:BK), or BNY Mellon, is seeking to dispose of its 49% interest in BNY Mellon Western Fund Management Co, a joint-venture fund management company based in China.

- HESS CORP AGREES USD2.6BN SALE OF RETAIL BUSINESS TO MARATHON PETROLEUM
US oil and gas group Hess Corporation (NYSE:HES) unveiled a cash deal worth USD2.6bn (EUR1.9bn) to sell its retail operations to domestic refiner Marathon Petroleum Corp (NYSE:MPC), as it wants to become a pure-play exploration and production company.
