908 Devices Acquires Trace Analytics, Enabling On-line Bioanalytics.

Boston-based handheld and desktop devices manufacturer 908 Devices (NASDAQ: MASS), has completed the acquisition of Germany based online analysis and sampling systems provider Trace Analytics GmbH, to enable biotech applications, the company said.
The purchase consideration includes an initial cash payment of USD 15.3m and up to an additional USD 2m of contingent cash consideration upon the achievement of certain milestones over the next two years.
908 Devices expects the acquired technology to enable its mass spec devices as on-line bioprocess monitors.
