Danish medical technology specialist Ambu AS (CPH:AMBU B) said that it had bought UK hydrogel manufacturer First Water Heathcote Ltd for up to GBP1.8m (USD2.8m/EUR2.1m), enhancing its electrode business.

Experience Art and Design Inc, formerly known as Clear System Recycling Inc (OTCBB:CLSR), said it had acquired Italian foundry operator Chiurazzi Internazionale Srl from CI Holdings Inc via an all-stock deal.

US nutritional supplements firm Creative Edge Nutrition Inc (OTCMKTS:FITX) said it had taken over discount nutritional supplements retailer Canadian Nutrition Superstores, without providing financial details.

- E.ON SAYS NOT EYEING RWE DEA

German utility E.ON SE (ETR:EOAN) has not laid eyes on oil and gas exploration company RWE Dea AG, which is being sold by parent RWE AG (ETR:RWE).

- BOSKALIS DISCUSSES POTENTIAL SALE OF ARCHIRODON STAKE

Dutch dredger Boskalis Westminster NV (AMS:BOS) said that it had entered into discussions with an unnamed party from the Middle East over the sale of its 40% stake in local construction company Archirodon.

- ZALICUS COULD SELL USD25M STAKE TO LINCOLN PARK CAPITAL

US biopharmaceutical firm Zalicus Inc (NASDAQ:ZLCS) said it had sold USD2m (EUR1.5m) worth of common shares to Lincoln Park Capital Fund LLC under an agreement which allows it divest up to a further USD23m stake to the institutional investor.

Dutch dredger Boskalis Westminster NV (AMS:BOS) said that it had launched the integration process of marine contractor Dockwise Ltd, which it acquired last month.

- SUMITOMO MITSUI TO BUY STAKE IN INDONESIA'S BTPN FROM TPG, OTHERS

Japanese lender Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp (SMBC) said it is buying common stock in PT Bank Tabungan Pensiunan Nasional Tbk (BTPN) from US private equity firm TPG Capital LP and other vendors to ultimately reach a 40% holding in the Indonesian lender.

- ENBRIDGE TO POUR USD1.2BN INTO ENBRIDGE ENERGY PARTNERS

Canadian energy company Enbridge Inc (TSE:ENB) said it had inked a deal to buy USD1.2bn (EUR914m) worth of preferred units in US-based crude oil and natural gas transportation systems operator Enbridge Energy Partners LP (NYSE:EEP).

US technology holding company Virogen Inc (OTCMKTS:VRNI) said that it had entered into preliminary takeover talks with several medicinal marijuana dispensary targets.

- BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY TO REFRAIN FROM BUYING OVER 25% IN DAVITA

US diversified group Berkshire Hathaway Inc (NYSE:BRK.A) has signed a standstill agreement with DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc (NYSE:DVA) that prevents the former from increasing its stake in the dialysis services company to over 25%, DaVita said in a regulatory filing.
