b. 1918, Associate Professor of Political Science at
the
University of
Stockholm since 1958 and Head of its Institute for English-Speaking Students since 1951.
Chairman of
the
Editorial Board of Cooperation and Conflict. His English publications
include Modern Swedish Government (1961) and Government and Politics in the Nordic
Countries (1964).
KJELL
GOLDMANN,
b. 1937, Research Associate at
the
Institute of International Affairs,
Stockholm. His publications in Swedish include studies on American security policy and
the
crisis within
NATO
as well as on
the
nuclear problem in Western Europe.
BERTEL
HEURLIN,
b. 1935, teacher in history at
the
University of Copenhagen and Research
Associate at
the
Institute of Contemporary History and Political Science, University of
Copenhagen. Served as secretary in the Danish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, 1962-64.
Has published and is preparing studies of disarmament and arms control.
JOHAN
JORGEN
HOLsT,
b. 1937, political scientist, graduate of Columbia University and the
University of Oslo. He was Research Associate at
the
Center for International Affairs,
Harvard University, 1962-63, and is presently Research Associate at the Norwegian
Defence Research Establishment working on problems of national security and arms control.
TORsTEN
LANDELIUS,
b. 1916, Ph. D. 1966. He has published adissertation on Workers,
Employers and Governments: A Comparative Study
at
Delegations and Groups at the
International Labour Conference 19If)-Ig64 (1965).
CHRISTIAN
LANGE,
b. 1931, teacher at the Department of Political Science, University of
Stockholm. Prepares a study on Nordic governmental cooperation since the War.
KNUT
MIDGAARD,
b. 1931, Research Associate at the Institute of Philosophy and the
History of Ideas, University of Oslo. His publications include articles on the theory of
argumentation and a book on game-theoretic subjects, with a special view to their
relevance to international politics.
