Agape Care Group Acquires Lanier Hospice in Georgia, Continuing Rapid Growth in the Southeast Region of the US.

Southeast US hospice and palliative care provider Agape Care Group, a portfolio company of Ridgemont Equity Partners, has acquired Lanier Hospice based in Buford, Georgia, the company said.

This acquisition expands Agape Care's presence in Georgia to 98 counties, covering 65% of the state.

Regionally, the company provides care in all 46 counties in South Carolina and has a total of 1,090 employees caring for 2,100 patients in both South Carolina and Georgia.

Lanier Hospice of Georgia will continue to operate under its current name and brand in the near term.

Terms of the deal are not disclosed.

As a regional specialist in hospice and palliative care, Agape Care Group serves more than 2,100 patients across South Carolina and Georgia.
