Air Liquide (Paris: AI), a provider of gases, technologies and services for Industry and Health, announced on Tuesday that it has signed a a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) for 115 MW of renewable installed power capacity with Vattenfall, a prominent electricity producer.
This strategic move marks Air Liquide's second large-scale PPA in Benelux, significantly bolstering its regional renewable power supply. The 15-year contract from 2026, sourced from Vattenfall's Hollandse Kust Zuid wind farm, elevates Air Liquide's Benelux renewable capacity to 270 MW, covering over 70% of its electricity needs.
