American Safety Council Acquires Certified Training Institute to Extend ELearning Offerings.

Florida, US-based private equity firm American Safety Council (ASC) has acquired online licensure and continuing education provider Certified Training Institute (CTI), to expand eLearning to new professional end markets, the company said.
Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
As a combined business, the company offers more content that covers a broader set of adjacent vocations, such as home and commercial services.
Normandy Advisors served as a buyside advisor to ASC and Ridgemont and Riverside Advisors served as advisor to CTI. ASC and Ridgemont are actively seeking acquisition candidates that are established leaders in the online training and education sectors.
