Specialty materials manufacturer Arkema (Euronext Paris:AKE) has started production of Sartomer specialty UV/LED curing resins at its recently expanded facility in Nansha, China, the company announced on Thursday.
This expansion, which doubled the plant's capacity, enables the development of more sustainable solutions for fast-growing applications in Asian markets. These applications include cutting-edge solutions in electronics, driven by 5G technology, and in renewable energies.
The Nansha expansion incorporates the latest process and manufacturing standards and focuses on energy efficiency and carbon-neutral growth through green electricity procurement and the installation of solar panels.
