Back three is a no-brainer now for Terriers

Not many of them made a great impression, but there were positives in the performances of Yuta Nakayama either at left-back or centre-back, Jack Rudoni in central midfield and Tino Anjorin on the left wing. Shifting to a back three seems like a no-brainer after seeing how instantly it stemmed the flow of an until-then rampant Preston and that would allow Tom Lees to return to his strongest position in the middle of a back three

We have Nakayama and Rarmani Edmonds-Green either side of him in our predicted line-up. That would mean Ollie Turton and Josh Ruffels nominally moving to wing-back, though in reality we expect it to be more of a 5-4-1 than a 3-4-3 with two talented wingers in Sorba Thoma and Tino Anjorin playing ahead of them.
