China's capital city Beijing detected one domestically transmitted Omicron variant case over the weekend, Reuters news agency reported on Monday.
Pang Xinghuo, an official at the city's disease control authority, was quoted as saying that the possibility that the Omicron case in Beijing was infected through imported goods can't be ruled out.
