Berry Plastics Group Inc (NYSE:BERY), a provider of plastic consumer packaging and engineered materials, on Monday announced a proposed secondary public offering of 15,000,000 shares of its common stock by certain funds affiliated with Apollo Global Management LLC and with Graham Partners Inc (together, the selling stockholders).
The underwriters will be granted a 30-day option to purchase up to 2,250,000 additional shares of common stock from the selling stockholders, however, the company said it is not selling any shares and therefore will not receive any proceeds from the proposed offering, nor will it change...
