Blackstone / GSO Senior Floating Rate Term Fund (NYSE:BSL) disclosed on Saturday that it has filed a registration statement with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (US SEC) relating to the offering of its additional common shares under a transferable rights offering (the rights offering).

Also, the fund said that it its board of trustees approve it will issue transferable subscription rights to its common shareholders on a record date to be set by the board. Accordingly, shareholders as of the record date will be able to subscribe for the fund's new common shares (the primary subscription).

Further, the exercise price for the rights offering will be decided as per market conditions before the fund files its final prospectus. Record date shareholders will receive one right for each common share held on the record...
