Blackstone to Acquire Energy and Telecom Infrastructure Provider Sabre Industries.

US-based energy-focussed private equity business Blackstone Energy Partners (NYSE: BX) has agreed to acquire Texas-based energy and telecom infrastructure provider Sabre Industries, Inc. from The Jordan company to continue to support the transition to cleaner, more affordable energy, the company said.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close in 2Q21.

Following the acquisition, Sabre will retain its name and continue to operate independently as a Blackstone portfolio company. The leadership team and employees will remain in their current roles and are planning to invest alongside Blackstone in the transaction.
