The American star has been out of action since defeating Tugstsogt Nyambayar -who will also compete on the card -back in February 2020 and will make his ring return in Atlantic City

He will defend his world title against Magsayo who is considered one of the brightest prospects at featherweight having an undefeated 23-fight record.

Russell Jr has some high-profile scalps on his own record including Kiko Martinez and JoJo Diaz with his only defeat coming to Vasyl Lomachenko back in 2014.

Also on the card Evander Holyfield's son Evan will make the latest step on his boxing journey in his ninth professional fight against Chris Rollins.

The 24-year-old has impressed in the early stages of his blossoming career and he will want to live up to the family name set by his father who had a legendary time in the heavyweight division.

What time are the fights on

Ring walks for the main event are expected to take place between 4am and 4:30am between Russell Jr and Magsayo with the rest of the main card commencing at 2am.

All fight times are subject to change with the undercard fights likely to alter the schedule based on how quickly they are completed.

The event will be shown live in the UK and in global markets on FITE TV. The event will be available to purchase here and has been set at a price point of around £9.50.
