Carss all revved up for a new job at Villa

Carss ended his playing career with the Terriers, joining in 2003 before hanging up his boots three years later having been part of the side that earned promotion from the fourth tier via the play-offs in 2004

He then worked as a coach in Town's academy before leaving the club for Blackburn in 2017 - and it is believed Carss has now been given the opportunity to move up to the Premier League with Steven Gerrard's Villa.
